51st Induction Weekend set August 2-3

The 51st annual BanCorpSouth Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame Induction Weekend is slated for August 2-3, highlighted by the induction banquet at the Jackson Hilton on Friday night, August 2, and also including activities at the Hall of Fame Museum on Saturday. The Farm Bureau Watermelon Classic is a great way to start off your July 4 holiday weekend.  A family tradition for many, the 5K run/walk will start at 7:30 a.m. at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum. A one mile fun run (for all ages) is also offered followed by a tot trot (for ages 3-and-under). Watermelon, fruits and beverages will be provided after the race.
