• Line Coach, Moss Point High School (1956)

• Head Coach, Georgiana (Alabama) High School (1957-1960, record of 20-8-2)

• Head Coach and A.D. Opp (Alabama) High School (1961-1964, record of 20-19-3, undefeted in 1964)

• Offensive line coach, USM (1966, under fellow MSHOF members Thad “Pie” Vann and P.W. “Bear” Underwood)

• USM Sports Hall of Fame (1969)

• His otenure as personnel scout for the NFL’s New Orleans Saints outlasted two owners, several general managers, and numerous coaches
