• Averaged 6.1 yards per carry during his varsity career

• 97 yard play from scrimmage and a 95 yard kick-off return (’42)

• Second Team All-SEC (’41, ‘42)

• Holds school record for the highest yards-per-rush average in a single game (19.5) and season (6.9) (’42)
