• Drafted by Denver Broncos (’82)

• Led AFC in scoring (’87)

• 2nd all-time Broncos TD scorer

• Holds single-season Broncos scoring record, 14 TDs (’86)

• Played in three Super Bowls (XXI, XXII, XXIV)

• Two-time Pro-Bowl selection (’84, ‘86)

Did You Know?

In 1985, Sammy played against the Pittsburgh Steelers only 13 days after having arthroscopic surgery on his knee.
