  • Helped team to two state championships
  • Named All-State, All-District and All-County
  • Played in first Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game in 1988
  • Played in Bernard Blackwell All-Star Classic
  • Earned Golden Helmet Award as best player in Warren County
  • Over four seasons, played linebacker, fullback, defensive tackle and offensive guard

Millsaps College, 1989-92

  • Made first team All-Conference all four seasons
  • First team All-American as a sophomore in 1990
  • First team All-American, conference player of the year  as a junior in 1991
  • First team All-American as a senior in 1992
  •  First three-time All-American in NCAA Division III history
  • Led Millsaps to first-ever conference championship in 1991
  • Set Millsaps record in career sacks with 53 and career solo tackles with 332
  • Named to the 15-year anniversary Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference all-time team
  • Inducted to Millsaps Sports Hall of Fame, 2004
  • Inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, 201

Did you know?

  • Sean Brewer follows his father, the late Ole Miss and NFL star Johnny Brewer, into the MSHoF. Johnny Brewer introduced Sean to football and coached his peewee team. Later, Johnny served as a volunteer assistant all four years at Millsaps. Sean Brewer calls having his father share his collegiate career with him “one of the highlights of my life.”
