The Ferriss Trophy, named for baseball legend Dave “Boo” Ferriss, goes annually to the most outstanding college baseball player in Mississippi. Southern Miss pitcher James McMahon was the 2015 winner.
Former Ole Miss baseball and football standout and baseball coach Jake Gibbs, who played 10 seasons with the New York Yankees, will be the featured speaker.
Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Southern Miss are all nationally ranked and among the nation’s top 14 teams in RPI. Delta State is nationally ranked, as usual, in Division II.
Individual tickets are available for $40. Tables and sponsorships are also available. Call 601 982-8264.
