World- renowned orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. James Andrews will speak at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum on Thursday evening March 19th. The evening will begin with a social hour featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, soft drinks, beer and wine at 5:30 p.m. in the Trustmark Conference Center and then move to the main arena of the museum for Dr. Andrews’s talk which includes information on preventing injuries for young athletes. Known for working on high-profile professional athletes, Dr. Andrews is noted for his work with “Tommy John” surgeries. This is a rare opportunity to hear his thoughts on youth sports and care of young athletes. The event is complimentary for all Lifetime Members of the Museum with tickets available for $50 for adults and $25 for students. Lifetime Members must RSVP.
