Mississippi Science Festival

The Mississippi Science Fest (MSF), presented by C Spire, is the LeFleur Museum District’s (LMD) signature event which will take place September 14-16. MSF remains committed to the goal of introducing new educational opportunities in STEM industries to Mississippi children in hopes of bringing about a brighter future for the residents and upcoming workforce of our state.. 

This year, the events include

* September 15: Science After Hours at the Belhaven Town Center
* September 16: Field Trip Friday
* September 17: Mississippi Science Fest

The LeFleur Museum District will offer exhibitors, special events, and programs at four sites – the Mississippi Children’s Museum, MDWFP’s Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Museum, and the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum on September 16th for one $10 ticket price.

Food trucks and vendors will also be on-site. Visit the MS Agriculture Museum’s General Store, MS Children’s Museum’s Red Rocket Cafe (open 9 am – 4 pm), or one of several food trucks (10:30 am – 3:30 pm, not included with admission).
