Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame to host the Atlanta Braves World Champions Trophy Tour Presented by Truist

Jackson, Miss. – (May 2, 2022) The Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame & Museum will host the Atlanta Braves World Champions Trophy Tour Presented by Truist on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The primary purpose of the Atlanta Braves World Champions Trophy Tour is to give Braves fans a chance to celebrate the World Series victory across the region. The tour will travel throughout Braves Country through summer 2022 with a total of 151 stops, commemorating 151 years of Braves baseball. Fans will have the opportunity to experience the trophy up close, as well as take a photo to share with family, friends, and social media followers.

The Museum will also have on display the Mississippi State Bulldogs National Championship trophy from the 2021 baseball season. “This is a great opportunity for baseball fans to see both trophies up close and have photos taken with them.” said Bill Blackwell, Executive Director of the Museum.

Thanks to the generosity of Nix-Tann & Associates, this event will be open to the public at no charge. “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame to make it possible for fans to come and enjoy this experience of seeing the trophies and visiting the Museum without having to worry about the cost.” said Walker Tann of Nix-Tann & Associates.

The Museum also has on display a traveling exhibit featuring Women in Baseball through the event next week. Visitors will be able to tour the Museum and enjoy all of the exhibits during these extended hours for the Trophy Tour.
