Mary Ann Hood, wife of the late Orley Hood, is donating her two tickets to the MSHoF’s Orley Hood Award endowment. We in turn are holding a raffle for the two tickets. All proceeds will go the endowment.
You can buy a chance to win the tickets for $10 and know that, win or lose, your money goes to a most worthy cause. There is no limit to the number of chances a person can buy.

Orley Hood was a long-time and much-beloved  columnist for the Jackson newspapers. He died after a long illness last February. An award, which will annually honor the state’s top high school journalist, was created and named for Hood. In May, Jack Hall of St. Joseph High School was presented the first Orley Hood Award for Excellence.
