In his senior year at Greenville High School, Bobby Crespino starred in football, basketball, baseball, and track. In football he was Greenville’s leading scorer and ground gainer, earning All-State honors and a spot on the Wiseman All-American team. He went on the be elected captain of the North team for the Mississippi High School All-Star Game. He was also All-State in basketball, and — in the first year he ever competed in track — won the state titles in the 100, 220, and 440.
