Ole Miss (1977-1981)

  • Played under Coach Van Chancellor and was teammates with Peggy Gillom.
  • Still holds the Ole Miss season record for steals (135), and ranks ninth on the Southeastern Conference (SEC) career steals list.
  • She is one of only two Ole Miss players to record more than 1,000 points, 500 assists and 250 steals in a career.
  • Inducted into the University of Mississippi Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001.

Coaching Career

Belhaven (1982-1983)

  • Volunteered under head coach Gwen White, who is also in the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame

Auburn (1983-1990)

  • Started as a graduate assistant

Florida (1990-2002)

  • Turned a consistently poor team into a contender
  • Made the Elite Eight in 1997 with a 24-9 record
  • Averaged 20 wins per season and NCAA Tournament appearances in her final 9 seasons
  • Was 247-121 in her time at Florida

Ole Miss (2003-2007)

  • Had 2 NCAA Tournament appearances
  • SEC Coach of the Year 2004
  • In her fourth and final season, 2006–07, Ole Miss won twenty regular season games for the first time in more than a decade, advanced to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight
