• Playedhalfback and wingback for Hall of Famer John Vaught at Ole Miss, averaging more than nine yards every time he touched the ball.
• Helped Rebels achieve a 20-12-1 record his three varsity seasons.
• All-SEC in 1966.

Professional
• Played for the San Frncisco 49ers 1967-73 and the Washington Redskins in 1974, excelling as a kick returner.
• Averaged nearly 24 yards per kickoff return and nine yards per punt return for his career.
