Eddie Khayat was the Mississippi Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion (novice class) in 1953-1954. He also received the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police President’s Award in 1996. Eddie and younger brother Robert Khayat (2000) are the fourth brother combination inducted into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame.
