- Set the record for shot blocks in a season with 106 in 1995-96 and in a single game with 8 vs. BYU & Utah (held record for 15 years until broken by Jarvis Varnado with NCAA-best 564)
- Finished 4th all-time on career field goal percentage with 58.7%

- Selected 10th overall in the first round of the 1996 NBA Draft by Indiana on June 26, 1996—1stMSU 1st round draft choice since 1986—entered NBA Draft as a junior
- Draft pick was traded by the Denver Nuggets (as future 1996 1st round draft pick) with Jalen Rose & Reggie Williams to the Indiana Pacers for Mark Jackson, Ricky Pierce, and a 1996 1stround draft pick (Efthimis Rentzias was later selection) on June 13, 1996

- Traded by the Indiana Pacers with Duane Ferrell to the Golden State Warriors for Chris Mullin on August 12, 1997
