- Averaged 26 points per game over two seasons
- Made first team All-SEC twice, making him all-league for all four years of college basketball
- Scored 53 points in memorable overtime victory over LSU in March of 1989

National Basketball Association
- Drafted in first round of 1989 draft by Minnesota Timberwolves
- Set Timberwolves record by scored 32 points off the bench against L.A. Lakers as a rookie
- Played two-pluss seasons with Timberwolves before trade to Detroit Pistons.
- Also played for New jersey Nets and Charlotte Hornets
- Finished NBAcareer with 1,552 points, 512 rebounds, 298 assists,and 130 steals
International professional basketball
- Played professionally in Italy, France and Israel
Coaching
Greenwood Amanda Elzy High School 2009-present
- After pro ball, went back to Ole Miss to earn his degree and teaching certificate
- Returned to his alma mater as head coach in 2009
- Has led Amanda Elzy to two straight State Class 4A championships in 2012 and 2013
