During his ownership of the AA Jackson Mets and Jackson Generals, the franchise won four Texas League Championships. Though baseball is his love, Maloney has served as Chairman of the Board of Cowboy Maloney’s Electric City Appliance chain since 1965. As a member of the Jackson Touchdown Club, he emceed many of the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame induction banquets.
