Did You Know?

Upon being inducted into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame Davidson observed, “I don’t know if my inherent athletic ability warrants my selection, but I do feel I made a positive influence in aiding and assisting individuals in making their lives worthwhile. I really feel I was chosen due to the impact I hopefully made on our players as a coach. I fully believe one of my good qualities is that I was always consistent in helping young people . . . It seemed it was always my predestined role to make sure they got their degrees and to keep up with them in life after they left Ole Miss.”
