• Set state record in 880 relay and Big Eight records in 880 and mile relays.

• All SEC running back in 1964 and 1965.
• Ole Miss MVP in 1965, leading team in rushing, receiving and scoring.

• Helped Ole Miss to three bowl games and 19-10-3 record.
• Set Ole Miss running back record with 65 career receptions.

• Drafted in first round (eighth overall) by the Buffalo Bills.
