Despite his seven-year pro career, Tyrone may be best known for his post-career community service. With $4000 in donations, Keys founded All Sports Community Service in 1992. At the time of his induction, Keys’ program to assist at-risk Tampa youth in pursuit of a higher education had sent more than 1,000 kids to college. When they finish school, the “alums” return to help younger kids in the program attain college entry.
Tyrone was prominent in the popular “Super Bowl Shuffle” music video that starred many of his World Champion Chicago Bear teammates and he had a bit part in the 1983 Bert Reynolds film “The Man Who Loved Women”.
